    California Copyright Conference Introduces 2026-2027 New Officers and Board of Directors

    For immediate release: 

    Hollywood, CA, July 1, 2026: The California Copyright Conference is proud to announce their newly elected Officers and Board of Directors for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. 

    The new officers are long-time members of the Board of Directors who have contributed their time and ideas significantly to the CCC. The new President is Jonathan Lane (Founder, Clearly Music Services + VP, Sync & Partnerships, Slipstream); Vice President is Sarah Brockman (Owner, Bardic Inspiration Music Services / Royalty Specialist, Podium Entertainment); Treasurer is Alexandra Guzman (Director of Film and Television, SESAC.); Secretary is James Jacoby (Music Contract Administration, Disney Entertainment Television); and Assistant Secretary is Janelle Hawkes (Publishing Royalty Manager, beatBread). 

    The following Board Members have been re-elected: Tara Austin (Owner/Director Sync Licensing & Publishing Administration, Austintatious Tunes); Rhonda Bedikian (Owner, Heavy Harmony Music); Brandon Jarrett (Television & Film Composer/Music Producer/Songwriter); Wayne Josel (Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, ASCAP); and Jack Mangikyan (Label Administration, Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman). Newly elected are Kenneth Buchanan (Sr Copyright Licensing & Permissions Specialist, Rights Management Team, Disney Music Group) and Dan Goldstein (Director of Royalties, Angry Mob Music).

    Serving their second Board of Director terms are: Kristina Benson (Founder, Sweet On Top); Reggie Calloway (Director Music Royalty Funding, Sound Royalties); Cheryl Dickerson (Music Industry Consultant); Lily Kline-Koenig (Sr. Manager Creative Administration, BMG), Melanie Santa Rosa (Head of Copyright Administration, Third Side Music) and Patrick Smith (Vice President Business Development and Creative Strategy, peermusic)

    The new officers and board reflect the broad scope of the California Copyright Conference. Along with its music publishing core, they are in sync licensing, music branding, digital imaging, CPA services, funding, and production music libraries. This dynamic group of people is currently crafting a series of new and exciting webinars and in-person meetings and social events to provide the latest updates on the most significant changes in the music industry.

    The California Copyright Conference was established in 1953 for the discussion of copyright related areas pertaining to music and entertainment with seven founding members. Today, the organization has grown to over 300 members globally from all areas of the music and entertainment industry. The scope of the CCC has broadened to cover all matters of copyright and music industry issues. Our members include publishers, performing rights societies, songwriters/composers, attorneys, music supervisors, artists, students, and representatives from trade publications, music libraries, entertainment studios, and record companies.
