18th Annual FAR-West Music Conference!

Folk Alliance Region West (FAR-West), the western regional chapter of Folk Alliance International, is holding our first in-person conference in four years!  The FAR-West gathering of the folk music industry and community is designed to promote a diverse mix of traditional, contemporary and multicultural folk music, dance, storytelling and related performing arts in the west.

Whether you are an artist, industry professional, presenter, DJ, educator, hobbyist, or fan, there is something for all!

Our theme this year is “Spirit of Community” and we’re focusing on deepening creative connections with dedicated and enthusiastic people in the world of independent music making, promoting, presenting and listening, educational and professional growth opportunities and more!  Together we’ll explore the sustainability of the folk genre, and business and career opportunities in an ever-changing music industry.
