    With the rise of in-game concerts, in-game radio stations, video game live streaming, and other phenomena; the way music is being used in video games is exciting and ever changing. In this panel, a group of experts will discuss the various new ways music is being used in video games, how creators can increase their odds of gaining these new types of video game placements, and the various ways these modern deals are typically structured.

    Sarah Brockman | Bardic Inspiration Music Clearance and Administration

    Sarah Brockman’s background includes experience across various aspects of the music industry. She began her career at the majors, handling film, tv, video game, and advertising clearances (both publishing and master sides) for BMG and Warner Chappell / Warner Records Group. She has also worked at the music library Audio Network, where she became deeply familiar with the quickly changing royalty structures for composers in the reality TV and streaming spaces. Currently, Sarah works in music clearance and licensing, supporting shows such as Behind the Music, Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and Come Dance with Me as part of their clearance teams. She also works as a freelance license administrator for several independent companies and artists.  With this decade of expertise, Sarah aims to create a music industry where writers and artists of all levels can build healthy revenue streams and collect fair payment for their art and effort.

    David Streit | Director, Creative – BMI

    David Streit is a Director of Creative at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), Los Angeles. In this role, David is responsible for discovering and signing songwriters, producers and artists in the dance, electronic, pop and indie genres and advancing showcases, workshops and panels aimed at education and supporting the creative community. David helps facilitate songwriter-’centric events such as “BMI’s Acoustic Lounge” and “Speed Dating for Songwriters®” and developed the new creative networking event, “Show and Tell.”  Prior to BMI, Streit had his own Artist Management company, IDKLOL Management LLC, where he managed clients ranging from pop producers to electronic dance music DJ’s, and also has a background as a composer, creating original works for commercials, video games and movies. Streit holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production from Chapman University.

    Ryan Kieffer | Chief Metaverse Officer – TerraZero Technologies, Inc. 

    Ryan is the Chief Metaverse Officer of TerraZero Technologies, Inc. He was the Co-Founder of BEAR NFT a Metaverse marketing agency—and the Co-Founder of Confidential Creative, an animation studio and creative agency with an established portfolio of music videos and animation projects for the likes of Maroon 5, Journey, Carrie Underwood, Peacock Kids and more.

    As an expert in the Metaverse, Ryan has leveraged both skill sets to produce several events including, “To The Moon Fest,” Decentraland’s first live music festival and “Halloween Events.” Ryan oversees many of TerraZero’s business divisions.

    Allie Krummann | Associate Director, TV & Film – Universal Music Group 

    Allie Krummann is Associate Director of Licensing and Synchronization at Universal Music Group, working with the frontline rosters of Def Jam, Island, Republic, and Verve. After graduating college in 2017, she moved to Los Angeles where she began her career in the music industry by interning for GRAMMY and Emmy nominated music supervisor, Alex Patsavas. Working at UMG, Allie secures syncs for artists such as Drake, Taylor Swift, Big Sean, Shawn Mendes, and more. Some of her most recent video game syncs include placements in FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K, Fortnite, MLB The Show, and more. In 2020, she was named to Billboard’s list of Gaming’s Top Synch Players.

    Steve Schnur | Worldwide Executive, President Music – Electronic Arts

    Steve Schnur is Worldwide Executive and President of EA Music Group, responsible for the pursuit, creation and continuous development of the global vision for music in all EA games. His ability to bridge the gap between both the digital and music worlds has made him a leader in digital music marketing. With the formation of Artwerk Music Publishing Group, Steve, as its President, has signed multiple breakthrough artists.

    Steve Schnur is also the Creator and Executive Producer of the E! Global network show “Opening Act,” along with Executive Producer partner Nigel Lythgoe.

    Steve Schnur has held executive positions with WMG, EMI and BMG in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville. Steve Additionally he has worked as music supervisor for Sandra Bullock’s Fortis Films, where he supervised and produced music for the hit comedy Miss Congeniality (which garnered a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song).

    Steve has been profiled by the New York Times, London Financial Times and CNN. He was selected as “One of the Most Creative People in Entertainment” by Entertainment Weekly, “One of the Most Powerful People in the Music Business” and “One of the Top 20 Power Players in Digital Entertainment” by Billboard Magazine and “One of The Top 25 Power Players in the New Hollywood” by The Wall Street Journal. In 2009 he was awarded “International Music Person of the Year” by MUSEXPO.
