Music Sync: Evolution Towards Internet TV

Synchronization continues to be an important source of income for music rights owners. However the competition has been fierce to secure placements for use in network and cable television. Is internet television the new synchronization frontier? Are Amazon, Hulu and Netflix the new ABC, NBC, and CBS? It seems to be so with breakout hits such as “Stranger Things,” “Orange Is The New Black,”  “The Man In The High Castle,” and “Sense 8.” This panel will discuss production cycles, the music pitch process, licensing rights and terms and how these differ from those in traditional media, and most importantly how to make money.
